QUALITY PROCESS

In developing products and services, quality assurance is any systematic process of checking to see whether a product or service being developed is meeting specified requirements. A quality assurance system is said to increase customer confidence and a company's credibility, to improve work processes and efficiency, and to enable a company to better compete with others.

It helps obtain better control and predictability of existing manufacturing processes. This requires a combination of statistical techniques, engineering knowledge and organizational aspects. Inspection is the most common method for quality control.

Inspection

The quality of output of an organization very much depends upon the quality of processes it undertakes. We have always been very strict and ahead of time for all its processes and products. The quality standards maintained by us have allowed expanding its market globally. A specialized team in Quality Assurance keeps check on internal and customer specific requirements. A specialized team and quality is the major player in achieving the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

Our unique quality and inspection regime keeps the quality in check and also allows waste reduction at each step. A fully computerized system maintains uniformity of quality, strength, texture, colors and any other customer specifications.

Incoming inspection

Incoming inspection consists of testing and verification of each raw material. This inspection allows the right material to be fed into the lines and above all keep a check on the supplier's quality.

With pre-defined internal specifications our quality team keeps a strict vigil on all chemicals, resins, plasticizers, pigments, fabrics, and packing materials along with verification of supplier reports. The non confirming material will be rejected and sent back to supplier and suitable corrective actions are sought.

State of the art equipments in this lab are Lab coaters, Ovens, Compression tester, Refractometer, Fabric thread counter, Tensile strength tester, etc.

Online Inspection

Online Inspection consists of verifying and approval of the first part as per customer specifications and our internal specifications during the production. It is a key step for ensuring that the raw material is apt according to the internal and external specifications. First part is verified for color, feel, weight, thickness, finish, and all other key requirements before continuing of the production. Tensile tester, crock meter, spectrophotometer, Flexing tester, abrasion tester, thickness gauge, weighing balance are some of the equipments this lab uses for process control.

In Process Inspection

In process inspection and control consists of setting, verifying and monitoring of predefined process parameters during the production for each type of products, and documenting the same in the system. Have quality assurance methods like mistake or error proofing system in automatic temperature controls, Beta gauge, alarming light system for detection and display of set readings on all coating heads, apart from continuous checks of thickness, width and weight throughout the process. Has perfect control system in all coating heads to increase or decrease the weight, thickness, speed and width during the production.

Final Inspection

Final inspection consists of testing and verifying of physical parameters and visual appearance of all customer specifications. Each jumbo roll is verified for physical parameters and 100 % material is verified for visual appearance on inspection machines, by trained inspectors. On passing both visual and physical parameters the material is approved for dispatch to customers.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Research and Development plays a key role in differentiating our products from other manufacturers of artificial leather. Our R&D brings in that extra dimension in us that keeps us ahead of major players in the industry. It also allows us to bring in new textures, colors, patterns, functionalities and utilities. Teaming up with the best brains in the industry and understanding the dynamically changing trends in fashion and functionality, we have developed a range of leather textures and colors that are inspired from our day-to-day products and nature.

Traditionally leather was associated with earthly colors, but until recently our R&D wing has demonstrated out some exemplary capacities and innovation in developing unique textures and patterns. Inspirations of these ideas are found anywhere from our surroundings. Wood patterns, leaves, fruits, animal hides and endless human imagination are sources. Laboratory Capability

Much of the path-breaking ideas need to be first tested in the labs and then replicated in mass production. This is a wise way of producing the most wonderful of artificial leather, providing samples to buyers, monitoring the quality of suppliers and above all keeping a check on the environment friendliness of the product.

Manufacturing to international standards takes great brains working in the labs to device the newest and the most unique products to lure the customers. We have a vast array of buyers who have different applications of artificial leather, vastly different in their utility and end products.

Providing samples helps in expanding the business to new dimensions. Customers from OEMs, Automobile, Footwear, furniture and upholstery, leather goods, sports equipment and fashion industry have varied requirements which are all successfully fulfilled in our prototype laboratories. To mention their achievements, the R&D wing delivers 90 to 100 unique samples in a working day.
